Graduated in Medicine at the University of Padua, exchange scientist at the Surgery Branch of the National Institute of Health (Bethesda,USA), Bronte is currently the Scientific Director of IOV (Padua). Author of more than 200 articles, Bronte has received several awards for his discoveries in the field of oncology. He is the author of pioneering studies on tumor immunology, in particular on myeloid-derived suppressor cells that suppress immune responses and impede the efficacy of immunotherapy.
