PhD in physics in the field of gravitational waves and currently historian of physics at the University of Macerata, she worked at CERN (CH), Sapienza University of Rome, Enrico Fermi Center (Rome), University of California Riverside, University of Verona. She won the 2020 SIF Prize for Science Communication and the 2022 SIF Prize for the History of Physics. Member of the Board of SISFA, with Nobel Laureate Barry C. Barish she is writing a scientific biography of Edoardo Amaldi.
